Regular listeners to TGP Nominal might remember that during the show, I discussed with John about building a 3-D printer, well Project V3 is exactly that.
Over the coming months you will be able to see how I get on, as I build my Vector 3 (V3) printer. There will be photos & in some cases, videos of my progress.
STAGE 1
(1.) Line up the Shaft Fixing Bases with the adjacent holes on the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover.
(5.) Attach the Limit Switch to the Limit Switch Holder & then attach the Limit Switch Holder to the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover.

(2.) Attach Shaft Fixing Bases to the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover.
(6.) Attach the Y-Axis Motor to the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover & fit the timing belt between the Y-Axis Motor & the Bearing Fixing Base.

(3.) Attach the Y-Shafts & Y-Axis Linear Bearing Block to the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover.
(7.) Connect the wires to the Motor Tester Board.

(4.) Attach the Bearing & Timing Belt to the Bearing Fixing Base & then attach the Bearing Fixing Base to the Y-Gantry Bottom Cover.
(8.) Attach the Y-Axis Cover.

(9.) Attach Y-Axis Bracket & Stage 1 complete
STAGE 2
(1.) Attach the 6 self adhesive Foot Pads to the Feet & then attach 4 of the Feet to the Left & Right Bottom Plates (The Other 2 will be used later)

(2.) Using Self Tapping Screws attach the L-Shaped Brackets to the Left & Right Bottom Plates

(3.) Attach the Main Frame to the Left & Right Bottom Plates using the L-Shaped Brackets & Self Tapping Screws

(4.) Attach the remaining Feet to the Left & Right Bottom Plates & Stage 2 complete
